B.C. Williamson - The Official Website

"B.C. would like to explain the extenuating circumstances which led to Tick-Tock Turner being removed from the B.C. Williamson Blues Band for his album "Larger Than Life". B.C. was angry at Tick-Tock's acceptance of an endorsement from a company which wished to produce a tea (to be known as "Tick Tock Tea"), which would feature the classic drum head as its logo. The slogan for the tea was to be "Tick-Tock Tea- for a taste that hits the spot every time- it just can't be beat!".

After several years rift, B.C. finally accepted Tick-Tock's apology for the release of his album "Back to Africa", 2009, coincidently the same year B.C. got initiated into the Tick-Tock Tea Drinkers Hall of Fame (which is customarily rewarded with 16,000 bags of tea and $23,000,000)."

Tick-Tock has now given up the endorsement, and the current product is shown below:

For the next few weeks, you can download a never-before-seen outtake of B.C. Williamson's classic song "I (Went Down This Mornin &) Got Myself a Gun. It was recorded for his album "Giraffe" in 1953, and is the 7th take. Listen to B.C. and Tick-Tock's banter as they make history! Just click the link below and enjoy!

Press statement from my agent Natty Roseman:
B.C. Williamson announces his final tour of the United States. On his fifty-city tour, the famously reclusive genius will be playing all his most famous songs (such as Shotgun Blues, Fatal Discharge and Believe Her 'Till I Leave Her'), with his current touring band, The Phukets. He has not toured since the mid 1980s, so this will be a huge event.

Start Time: 09 July 2009 at 15:00
End Time: Who knows?
Location: The United States, at a Crossroads near you

There are also thought to be cameos from all of B.C.'s past backing bands.
